Exercise and Recreational Technologies for People with Disabilities:

State of the Science Conference

Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center

May 30-31, 2006

This conference will provide a forum for discussing innovative technologies and methods for increasing health and function through safe and effective exercise and recreation for people with disabilities.  James H. Rimmer, PhD, the Center Director for the RERC on Recreational Technologies (RERC-RecTech), and the conference team, are planning a number of feature presentations and panel sessions involving the most innovative technology and equipment in the exercise and recreation field.  This conference will include participants from the following areas:  Engineering, Research & Development, Rehabilitation, Disability, Computer Science, Exercise Physiology, Fitness, Consumers, Corporations, Entrepreneurs, and others.   See press release.
