NRH's Sarah Feasel, MEd RD LD, Discusses Nutrition and Diet in SCI
Presenting on the topic of nutrition and diet for people with a spinal cord injury is Sarah Feasel, MEd, RD, LD, a clinical nutrition manager and patient services manager at National Rehabilitation Hospital in Washington, DC. Sarah completed her undergraduate education at The Ohio State University with a B.S. in dietetics and completed her dietetic internship and Masters of Education at Teachers College, Columbia University. She is currently working toward a PhD. in nutrition at the University of Maryland. Sarah is certified by the Commission on Dietetic Registration as a Registered Dietitian and a weight management specialist. Sarah is a member of the American Dietetic Association, Dietitians in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (A.S.P.E.N.), Dietitians in Nutrition Support and several other dietetics practice groups. She currently serves as a member on the A.S.P.E.N. clinical practice committee.
